 Introduction

    A personal computer is that the common name for a kind of computer that's hottest in office and houses. The first PC called the IBM PC  was made by the corporate called IBM in 1981, although many computers were made before just like the commodore PET. Smartphones and computers for private use, but they are rarely called Personal computer.

    Today most  PCs usually have a basic set of software called an operating system. The Operating system is liable for several tasks including providing a interface. The most popular Operating system  on PCs is windows, sold by Microsoft Corporation. PCs made by companies called apple Inc. can use a special system of software  called Mac Operating system that's called sold by apple Inc.

    Many free operating system are available. They are called Linux Operating system. There are over 300 different Linux distribution. Each one has a different purpose. Ubuntu-Linux is that the most -used Linux because it's the simplest to use. A modern PC  features  a minimum set of parts to be useful. The Base unit or Tower  is that the main a part of the Personal Computer. A mouse and keyboard are used for input. A monitor is needed to views output. In a laptop PC these parts are all at once. Inside the bottom unit or tower there are many electronic parts. The main parts are the motherboard CPU,the hard disc and memory. The CPU central processing unit follows the instructions. within the Operating System and application programs. The memory, or RAM random access memory, is for moving information removable disks.Computer often have a modem to send and receive data over a telephone line, more recently, over cable television lines. Computers also can be connected to a network. Modern PCs have various sockets called ports. The most common ports are referred to as USB ports. Computer could also be used for work, Including doing research using the web, Keeping records; or writing documents. Other uses include communicating, with people across the planet using Instant messaging, e-mail or Skype or recreation activity like playing computer games.

    Supercomputer any of Category of extremely powerful Computer. The term is usually applied to the fastest high-performance system available at any given time. Such computers are used primarily for scientific and engineering work requiring exceedingly high-speed computations. common applications for supercomputers included testing mathematical models for complex physical phenomena or design like climate and weather, evaluation of the cosmos, nuclear weapons and reactors, new chemical compounds and cryptology.
